Crikey, she's a natural! Bindi Irwin follows in late father Steve Irwin's footsteps as she dangles a piece of meat into a hungry crocodile's jaws

She's the daughter of the late Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin.

And Bindi Irwin continued to follow in her father's footsteps on Wednesday, as she was pictured feeding a HUGE crocodile in Australia Zoo's crocoseum.

The 18-year-old was promoting an upcoming crocodile show on Facebook and in the snap was seen tempting the creature to jump out of the water for a piece of meat.

Bindi appeared just as comfortable around the massive reptile as Steve was when he would host the shows.

Since Steve's passing in 2006, Bindi has increased her responsibilities at the zoo, performing and hosting shows, attending annual crocodile research trips and carrying on conservation efforts.

Fans of the zoo immediately saw the comparison and commented on the picture praising her performance.

'Well done Bindi! Steve would be so proud,' one user wrote.

Another agreed: 'So incredible to see that little girl all grown up doing her dad's job.'

Steve Irwin passed away on September 4, 2006, after being repeatedly struck by a stingray barb while filming off Port Douglas in New South Wales.

It's not the first time Bindi has braved the crocoseum during feeding time, as she celebrated her 18th birthday feeding a 12ft-long reptile to a crowd of 5000.

Her mother, Terri, stayed close to her daughter as she pulled off the daredevil stunt in July, but this time she appeared to take on the task on her own.

The post was published on Facebook to promote her upcoming shows during the Easter school holidays.

During the school holidays she will also be joined by American boyfriend Chandler Powell.

The US wakeboarder has taken an active role in being included in the Irwin family, from a month-long crocodile trip to learning the ins-and-out of Australia Zoo life.

While posting during the crocodile trip, he expressed his excitement to continue the work in his future: 'Already counting down until next year.'

And it is believed Bindi's mother Terri has noticed his commitments and given her blessing to the couple, with a tweet suggesting Steve would also be happy for his daughter.

Chandler, who hails from the US, has long been a fan of Steve's work and 'idolised' the late Crocodile Hunter.

'Chandler used to watch Steve Irwin's TV show all the time as a kid,' the professional wakeboarder's grandfather John DiCenzo told Woman's Day last year.

He first fell for Bindi after receiving a tour of Australia Zoo during a visit with his family in November 2013.

The pair stayed in touch and began dating the following year.
